Charlene Abughrin | Founder & President
Charlene Abughrin founded Alliance Health Care Institute with a clear purpose: to help people build stronger futures through education and practical career skills. With more than 17 years of healthcare experience and over a decade in business, she brings a combination of clinical knowledge, leadership, and entrepreneurship to the students she serves.
Most recently, Charlene served in a management role at one of Milwaukee’s largest children’s hospitals. Her experience as a Laboratory Director informs her emphasis on hands-on learning, professional standards, and compassionate patient care. Her approach connects classroom instruction with the skills and confidence students need to pursue opportunities in healthcare.
Charlene holds a master’s in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University. Her undergraduate degrees include Business Administration (bachelor’s, Concordia University) and Accounting. She also holds a diploma in Phlebotomy. This foundation guides her commitment to quality training, responsible school leadership, and student success.
